Īstenos projektu vēsturisko ēku saglabāšanas pieredzes veicināšanai Latvijā un Norvēģijā
Biedrība “Kultūras projektu koordinācijas centrs” sadarbībā ar norvēģu partneri Akershus ēku konservācijas centru no šī gada janvāra līdz 2024.gada aprīlim īstenos projektu “Vēsturisko ēku saglabāšanas pieredzes veicināšana Latvijā un Norvēģijā “Sens nams, jauns stāsts””.
Projekta ietvaros iecerēts popularizēt vēsturisko ēku saglabāšanas pieredzi abās valstīs, pievēršot sabiedrības uzmanību kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanas aktualitātei. Projekta mērķis ir nodrošināt Kuldīgas un Drebakas Norvēģijā sadarbības nepārtrauktību un ilgtspēju kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanas un restaurācijas jomā, paplašinot labās prakses un pieredzes apmaiņas izplatīšanas mērogu plašākā Latvijas teritorijā.
Projekta ietvaros tiks organizētas 3 starptautiskas restaurācijas darbnīcas Zaļeniekos, Kuldīgā un Drebakā, kuru laikā tiks veikti praktiski restaurācijas darbi, atjanojot vēsturiskās koka būvdetaļas dažādos objektos, kā arī tiks rīkotas izglītojošas lekcijas. Šīs restaurācijas darbnīcas sekmēs seno kokapstrādes amatu pārmantojamību un dos ieguldījumu, lai novērstu seno metožu pilnīgu izzušanu, kas tiek uzskatīts par būtisku draudu. Projektā iesaistītie partneri uzskata, ka senās amatu prasmes ir būtiski nepieciešamas, lai nodrošinātu vēsturisko ēku autentiskuma saglabāšanu, jo, ja izzudīs senās amatu prasmes, arī senās ēkas ies zudumā, jo tās vairs nebūs iespējams korekti atjaunot. Darbnīcu ietvaros rīkotās lekcijas būs atvērtas un pieejamas ikvienam, dodot iespēju jebkuram interesentam padziļināt zināšanas un izpratni par seno ēku vērtību un to atjaunošanas procesu.
Tiks rīkota pieredzes apmaiņas vizīte uz Norvēģiju kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanas jomā iesaistītajiem speciālistiem no Latvijas, lai pārņemtu labās prakses pieredzi, lai iepazītu mantojuma saglabāšanas principus, vēsturisko ēku restaurācijas nostādnes, kā arī lai apmeklētu muzejus, gūstot ierosmi savas darbības pilnveidošanai. Savukārt, lai veicinātu jauniešu interesi par mantojuma saglabāšanu, iecerēts sarīkot mantojuma forumu, kura ietvaros dalībnieki pastaigu spēles formā iepazīs Kuldīgas vecpilsētas vērtības.
Projekts tiek īstenots ar Eiropas Ekonomikas zonas finanšu instrumenta un Norvēģijas finanšu instrumenta 2014.–2021. gada perioda Divpusējās sadarbības fonda finansiālu atbalstu 53 390 EUR apmērā.

THE PROJECT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED FOR PROMOTING THE EXPERIENCE OF PRESERVING HISTORICAL BUILDINGS IN LATVIA AND NORWAY
NGO “Coordination Center of Cultural Projects” in cooperation with the Norwegian partner Akershus Building Conservation Center will implement the project Promoting the Experience of Preserving Historical Buildings in Latvia and Norway “Old house, the new story” from January this year to April 2024.
Within the framework of the project, it is intended to promote the experience of preserving historical buildings in both countries, drawing public attention to the importance of preserving cultural heritage. The aim of the project is to ensure the continuity and sustainability of cooperation between Kuldīga and Drøbak in Norway in the field of cultural heritage preservation and conservation, expanding the scale of dissemination of good practice and exchange of experience in the wider territory of Latvia.
Within the framework of the project, 3 international restoration workshops will be organized in Zaļenieki, Kuldīga, and Droøbak, during which practical restoration works will be carried out, restoring historical wooden construction details in various objects, as well as educational lectures will be held. These restoration workshops will promote the inheritance of ancient woodworking crafts and contribute to preventing the complete disappearance of ancient methods, which is considered a major threat. The partners involved in the project believe that the ancient craft skills are essential to ensure the preservation of the authenticity of the historical buildings, because if the ancient craft skills disappear, the ancient buildings will also be lost, as it will no longer be possible to restore them correctly. The lectures held as part of the workshops will be open and accessible to everyone, giving anyone interested the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the value of ancient buildings and their conservation process.
An experience exchange visit will be organized to Norway for specialists from Latvia involved in the field of cultural heritage preservation, in order to take over the experience of good practice, to get to know the principles of heritage preservation, the principles of conservation of historical buildings, as well as to visit museums, getting inspiration for improving their organized activities. On the other hand, to promote young people’s interest in heritage preservation, it is planned to organize a heritage forum, within the framework of which the participants will get to know the values of the old town of Kuldīga in the form of a walking game.
The project is implemented with the financial support of instrument of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian financial instrument 2014-2021. The financial support of the Bilateral Cooperation Fund for the implementation of this project is 53390 EUR.
